“Inspect, never expect” is one of Martyn’s life mottos and so far, has proved to be wise words indeed as training racehorses for Martyn is all about perfection and the pursuit of winning at the highest possible level. A French Classic, multiple Group 1’s and Stakes winners, including at Royal Ascot, have cemented Martyn at the top of his game. Martyn saddled his first winners in the seventies when predominantly training National Hunt horses.
