Stables

New world class stabling facilities have been created at Manton Park providing excellent ventilation in all of the barns, Equilume lighting in every stable and Rower and Rub stables.

Grass Gallops

Manton Park offers a diverse selection of private grass gallops to suit changing needs throughout the year.

The Clatford Gallop is an old down turf gallop that is fully irrigated by hose reel. It features an American style cambered bend and can be used from six furlongs to up to one mile and four furlongs. This gallop is ideal for use in the height of summer racing.

The Barton Gallop is a one mile, chalk-based gallop, that gives the ground great drainage making it ideal for spring and autumn use.

The Peat Moss Gallop is added to on a bi-annual basis and fully irrigated by hose reel, making it perfect to use as a two-year-old trial ground.

All weather Gallops

Manton Park offers a selection of all weather gallops - an integral part of any training operation. The Private gallops have been fully restored and irrigated. A new two year old wood chip gallop has been constructed and the existing wood chip and poly track gallops have been bought back to life.
