Martyn Meade
“Inspect, never expect” is one of Martyn’s life mottos and so far, has proved to be wise words indeed as training racehorses for Martyn is all about perfection and the pursuit of winning at the highest possible level. A French Classic, multiple Group 1’s and Stakes winners, including at Royal Ascot, have cemented Martyn at the top of his game. Martyn saddled his first winners in the seventies when predominantly training National Hunt horses. Now concentrating totally on the flat, he has no end of pleasure training alongside his son to continue on this racing journey.
Freddie Meade
From an early age Freddie has grown up immersed in the world of racing, therefore training racehorses was the logical career path for him to take. Freddie has been learning all things equestrian his whole life and for the last decade has been assistant to Martyn. Obtaining his trainers licence has been the next step in his career and will now build on his successes around the Manton Park bloodstock activities. Freddie is ambitious, passionate and motivated to drive Manton Park on to newer and even higher levels.
